Pulse Fitness champions inclusivity with 'Everyday Warriors' campaign in partnership with Paralympian Ian Marsden

Pulse Fitness has taken a bold step toward greater gym inclusivity with the recent launch of its ‘Everyday Warriors’ campaign, developed in partnership with Paralympian and champion powerlifter Ian Marsden. Pulse Fitness is working to create training environments where people of all abilities can work out side-by-side without barriers.

For many disabled athletes, accessing standard fitness facilities remains a significant challenge. Through the Everyday Warriors campaign and the growing Inclusive Line of equipment, Pulse Fitness is aiming to reshape this reality. Designed to be genuinely accessible, the Inclusive Line goes beyond compliance, offering practical, empowering solutions that allow users to train independently and confidently.

The launch of ‘Everyday Warriors’ is a call to action for our industry,” said Liam Lister, Director of Regional Sales at Pulse Fitness. “Inclusivity should be embedded into the fabric of every gym, not an afterthought. Our Inclusive Line is about designing spaces where everyone feels recognised, supported, and able to achieve their fitness goals.

Fitness should bring us together, not set us apart,” says Marsden. “I’m proud to be working with Pulse Fitness to ensure their machines meet a broader range of needs without making anyone feel different. Equipment like the Inclusive Line swing seat, which easily moves aside for wheelchair access, is a real game-changer. It proves that inclusive design can be seamless and empowering.”

The Inclusive Line now features 18 pieces of accessible strength and cardio equipment, with thoughtful design details such as swing seats, multi-position handles for limited mobility, and high-visibility colour schemes to assist visually impaired users.

Pulse Fitness is calling on gyms, leisure centres and the wider fitness community to rethink how they approach accessibility, moving beyond segregated areas for disabled users and towards truly integrated, inclusive training environments. Through Everyday Warriors, Pulse Fitness hopes to inspire a new industry standard where inclusivity is not optional but essential.
