PSLT Completes Complex Fitness Equipment Logistics Project for Camberley Gym Refurbishment
PSLT, the leading provider of specialist logistics and asset management solutions for the fitness and leisure industry, has successfully completed a multi-phase logistics project in support of Camberley's gym refurbishment, part of the Places Leisure network.
The project involved the extraction of approximately 120 pieces of fitness equipment from the Camberley site. Of these, 80 units were expertly relocated and installed into a temporary gym facility to ensure uninterrupted service for members during the refurbishment. The remaining 40 pieces have been returned to PSLT’s dedicated refurbishment centre, where they will be restored and prepared for redistribution across the wider Places Leisure estate.
Once the Camberley refurbishment is complete and the temporary gym is no longer required, PSLT will also manage the collection of the 80 temporarily relocated units. These will undergo the same comprehensive refurbishment programme before being redeployed across other sites within the estate, ensuring ongoing value and sustainability of the asset lifecycle.
