PERFORM X LIVE

PERFORMX LIVE – THE BUSINESS OF FITNESS SHOW

PerformX 2026 – The Business of Fitness Show – successfully delivered show number 5 this February at the NEC Birmingham. Quickly becoming the UK fitness industry’s go-to event, PerformX delivers a cutting-edge take on the state of the industry, focusing heavily on the key trends and shifts shaping the landscape for gyms and wellbeing businesses.

Education is always the centrepiece of the show, and our four stages certainly did not disappoint this year with headliners Jonny Wilkinson and Russ Cook ‘The Hardest Geezer’ packing out our Main Stage, alongside some of the most important conversations hosted by thought leaders Mohammed Iqbal and Matthew Januszek. Highlights including a Gym Leaders panel with John Penny (Third Space), Neil Randall (Urban Gym Group), Jean-Claude Vacassin (Foundry) and Sophie Lawlor (Total Fitness) hosted by Ian Rushbury, and the Key Shifts Shaping Consumer Behaviour delivered by Adrienne Adhami, Men’s Mental Fitness and our role as a sector in helping men thrive (delivered by Jay Worthy of Myzone, Dr Joe Gaunt, Ben Coomber, Pete Taylor and Ross Colquelin), as well as masterclasses from Phil Learney and Oliver Patrick. Over 80 talks across four stages and three streams (the c-suite, the independent gym owner and the personal trainer).

This year’s show brought together 5000 of the most ambitious in the sector, including a packed VIP Club made of up of C-Suite leadership teams of the key accounts in the country, many of which are part of the Advisory Board helping to define the speaker schedule and exhibition floor: from Third Space to Everlast, everyone active and David Lloyd Leisure.

New additions for this year’s edition to PerformX were a focus on the spa and wellness sector. As the worlds merge and consumer tastes change, it is important for the show to adapt, and this was the first time the schedule had dedicated content for the c-suite decision makers from the leading spas, led by Jaclyn Hughes and Sara Young of Spa Well.

The exhibition floor was our biggest and most impressive yet – made up of the countries’ leading kit and tech shaping the future of the space. Brilliant activations and partnerships from brands like Life Fitness/Hammer Strength, gym80, EGYM, InBody

PerformX Live dates are confirmed for at the NEC Birmingham for 24–25 February 2027. Delegates can expect four stages of world-class content, prime networking, an exhibition floor packed with leading brands and complimentary VIP experiences for senior decision-makers.
