TANITA UK & Ireland: A Strong Year of Growth and Relationship Building
Over the past year, TANITA has continued to strengthen its presence across the UK & Ireland, supported by the appointment of Kirt as Sales Consultant for the region.
Kirt joined TANITA in December 2024, completing his first year with the business, and brought with him a broad background in sales and account management across multiple industries, spanning both B2B and B2C environments. Stepping into a role previously managed by Simon Wilkinson, he has worked closely with customers and colleagues to ensure a smooth transition while maintaining continuity for existing partners.
Since joining TANITA, Kirt has focused on quickly embedding himself within the fitness industry across the UK & Ireland. Through extensive site visits, attendance at key industry events, and ongoing engagement with operators and suppliers, he has built a strong understanding of the sector while developing a growing network of industry relationships.
A key focus during Kirt’s first year has been supporting established partners, including EGYM and Pulse Fitness, ensuring TANITA’s body composition solutions align effectively within wider fitness ecosystems. This collaborative approach has reinforced TANITA’s position as a long-term technology partner, rather than simply a device provider.
Alongside partner support, Kirt has also played an active role in expanding TANITA’s presence within the independent gym sector, where demand for data-driven solutions continues to grow. By applying proven sales principles from previous roles, he has helped operators understand how body composition technology can support member engagement, onboarding, and retention.
