PROS 2026 & The Studio Summit Set a New Standard for Fitness Industry Events
The 2026 edition of PROS 2026 Spinning & Fitness Conference, delivered by Athleticum – a leader in Athleticum group fitness equipment and education solutions – has firmly positioned itself as one of the UK and Ireland’s most impactful events for group fitness professionals and studio operators.
Held at the iconic Winter Gardens in Blackpool, PROS 2026 combined immersive training experiences with forward-thinking education, while The Studio Summit delivered a parallel programme focused on the business of running a successful fitness studio. Together, the two events created a unique platform that bridged coaching excellence with commercial strategy.
Central to the PROS experience was the premium indoor cycling environment powered by Spinning®. The high-tech setup showcased how performance tracking, expertly curated music, and world-class coaching can come together to create a truly engaging group fitness experience. This was further enhanced through the headline partnership with Pure Energy Music, whose curated playlists and live DJ-led sessions elevated the atmosphere and demonstrated the powerful role music plays in member engagement and retention.
Innovation extended beyond the bike. A standout collaboration with Power Plate introduced attendees to advanced approaches in performance and recovery. Notably, selected sessions integrated Red Light Therapy within workouts, offering a practical insight into how emerging wellness technologies can be applied within studio environments. These sessions highlighted new opportunities for operators to diversify their offering and deliver added value to their members.
Alongside the physical experiences, The Studio Summit delivered high-level business insight. Alexa Passingham of Leisure DB presented a compelling session on data-driven decision-making, demonstrating how demographic insights can directly influence studio growth and member retention.
The Summit also featured Alina Cooper, who delivered a practical and engaging session on studio leadership, team development, and operational performance. Complementing this, Kai Schumacher of Experts United introduced operators to new opportunities to move beyond traditional monthly licensing models. As the creator of Europe’s award-winning HOT IRON programme – launching in the UK with Athleticum – his session sparked strong interest among studio owners seeking more sustainable and flexible programming solutions.
“PROS 2026 was a defining moment—not just for us as a brand, but for the industry as a whole. What we saw was a genuine appetite for growth, for higher standards, and for deeper connection. The combination of world-class education, powerful partnerships, and a community-driven atmosphere created something truly special.”
Beyond the sessions and partnerships, PROS 2026 was defined by its attendees – motivated professionals committed to elevating their knowledge and returning to their communities with renewed energy and purpose.
Following this success, planning is already underway for PROS 2027 and The Studio Summit, taking place from 19–21 March 2027. With growing interest from partners and operators alike, the event continues to strengthen its position as a key date in the fitness industry calendar.
