The 2023 EVOLVE Conference brought together industry leaders to discuss how the industry’s leading operators can meet consumers’ changing demands and evolve the human experience. At Active IQ, we are committed to empowering individuals to succeed within the health and leisure sector, which is why we are proud to be collaborating with Leisure DB to host a Workforce Roundtable.
The upcoming roundtable will continue the discussions started at the EVOLVE Conference, delving into the specific changes needed to support the leisure industry workforce and investigate how operators can work cohesively to evolve the human experience within the sector.
EVOLVE 2023: Upholding the sector’s educational success
Active IQ’s Managing Director, Jenny Patrickson, spoke at EVOLVE 2023 about the importance of education and the challenges currently faced by providers in the sector, including pricing competition and the need to attract new physical activity professionals to the sector.
The intense competition in health and fitness education across the UK can sometimes lead to a compromise in pricing and quality, however, Active IQ stands firm in its belief that forming partnerships based on quality, rather than participating in a race to the bottom, is key to driving more talent into education. Additionally, operators have long emphasised the importance of collaboration and diversity in attracting people into the sector.

The upcoming Roundtable will present key industry stakeholders with an opportunity to enact change and progress beyond discussions.
